Social Entepreneurship Webinar

The webinar titled ‘Addressing Social Issues: A Social Entrepreneur Perspective’ aims to expose and cultivate Social Entrepreneurship spirit among UTS students in improving the lives of others as well as the environment in which we all live. Social Entrepreneurship is all about recognizing the social problems and achieving a social change by employing entrepreneurial principles, processes, and operations. The invited speaker for this event is Mdm. Nina Othman. She is the Vice President of Chamber of Social Entrepreneur Development (CSED) and the founder of Grow the Goose, a social enterprise that teaches young Malaysian kids how to become financially disciplined. All 151 students attended this webinar via Google Meet. Besides, the webinar hits its objectives such as:

1. To expose students on the importance of Social Entrepreneurship.

2. To stimulate Social Entrepreneurship among students of UTS.

3. To learn new knowledge and experience from an expert in the field of Social Entrepreneurship.
