Stand Out and Land the Job! Webinar was successfully carried out on 9 May 2022, with the objectives of introducing students to the importance of excellent job application skills (resume and letter writing, and interview skills); providing students with important information and helpful tips in creating a strong resume and cover letter that will help them secure a job interview; and preparing students with outstanding interview skills that will land them the job they want. A total of 110 students, who are currently taking the subject UCS3112 Communication in the Workplace, joined the webinar. The speaker of the webinar is Madam Imelia Laura anak Daneil, a senior lecturer at UiTM Mukah Branch. During the webinar, the speaker shared with the students the importance of job application and the processes involved from the creation and submission of resume, curriculum vitae and cover letter to job interviews and the follow-ups. Students were also exposed to the basic information of job application and the tips and tricks that could make their job application and job interview session more impactful. The Q&A session also saw active interaction between the speaker and participants as the students have many burning questions to ask the speaker.
