On 25th October 2022, Tuesday, University of Technology Sarawak received a Benchmarking Visit from Institut Pendidikan Guru Kampus Miri and held a sharing session in the Meeting Room A, Block 6. Dr. Chin Peng Yee, the Deputy Director of IPGK Miri has led the delegation of 7 officers, who were warmly received by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thomas Moh Shan Yau, the Director of Centre of University Courses and Innovative Learning (UCiL). The purpose of this benchmarking visit was to share experience in conducting hybrid teaching & learning and the Learning Management System (LMS) in UTS.
Madam Nurzalikha Binti Sa’adi, the Head of unit for Innovative Learning and e-Content Development has shared the policies, guidelines, template related to the online learning and also the UTS’s LMS and online learning tools/software. During the meeting, ideas and experiences were shared between delegates from IPGK Miri and the University of Technology Sarawak to improve and strengthen the implementation of Online Learning and LMS for the benefit of future education and students. The benchmarking visit was end at 4.30pm.
