Green Technology Symposium 2019 organized by Centre of University Courses and Innovative Learning, UCiL was held successfully on 27 November 2019 in University College of Technology Sarawak, Sibu. 123 of students and staffs were participated in the event. There are 3 external speakers involved for keynote lecture and forum which are; 1) Assoc. Prof. Dr Azhaili Baharun, Advisor Centre of Renewable Energy UNIMAS; 2) Sr Dr Asmah Alia mohamad bohari, Senior Lecturer UiTM, Samarahan; and 3) Assoc. Prof. Ar. Sarly Adre Sarkum, Past President Green Building Council Malaysia.
This event was provided as a platform for dissemination of knowledge and latest development in the area of green and sustainable technology. This Symposium also held a talk session and forum entitled “Green Technology Challenges & Opportunities in Malaysia”. This event deemed beneficial to students and academician to gain knowledge on how Green Technology could help us to protect the environment.
