The webinar aims and hits it target in exposing students on the importance of Intellectual Property (IP). Intellectual property is critical in fostering creativity and innovation. All 66 students from UCS3212 Creativity and Innovation joined the webinar. The group project for this subject required students to come out with creative and innovative products or services during the pandemic of Covid-19. It is vital for them to be aware of Intellectual Property to avoid infringement or to protect their invention. The invited speaker for this event is Ms. Lee Jia Ee who is a registered patent, trademark and industrial design agent in Malaysia. She is the managing partner of Global IP Southest Asia (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (GIP ASEAN, Malaysia) and is currently overseeing the operation of Global IP Southest Asia Pte Ltd (GIP ASEAN, Singapore).
