Overview

All students are required to complete UCS modules as part of their academic programme. These subjects strengthen English proficiency, foster innovation, and enhance global communication.

c) UCS3152 Business English

Note: All students must register for the EL courses based on their English Competency Level.

Note: All students must register for both VM courses.

b) UCS3532 Intermediate Mandarin 1

c) UCS3572 Advanced Mandarin 1

d) UCS3612 Japanese for Beginners 1

e) UCS3622 Japanese for Beginners 2

f) UCS3712 Basic Korean 1

g) UCS3722 Basic Korean 2

Note: Any of the courses can be chosen as an elective.

* UCS3132 is only for students who do not meet the minimum English requirement (audit course).


Registration Process

Students must enter their English proficiency result into OCULUS. Based on the result, they are classified into Elementary or Advanced levels. Students without any of the required English results will need sit for a Placement Test.
